Valuevet History

Our staff has over 40 years experience in the practice of veterinary medicine. Harris Jorgensen, DVM, started a practice in 1957 that eventually had 5 practicing veterinarians. The practice included 2 small animal hospitals and a large animal clinic.

In 1990, Iowa Buying Group began supplying large animal vaccines and pharmaceuticals to the Midwest area.

In, 1998, Valuevet began distributing pet medications. We are expanding this product line to include dog, cat and equine products.

Leah Hansen has 20 years experience in animal pharmaceutical sales. She currently manages our website business and shipping department.

Valuevet has Iowa small town values and services which we will pass on to each client. We ship priority mail through the US Postal Service. Orders will usually be sent out the same day they are received in the original manufacturer's packaging. Your credit cards will not be charged until your order is ready to be shipped, if you mistakenly double order we will only send you one order.
