Canine Aspirin Chewable Tablets (Pala-Tech)

An aspirin tablet formulated specifically for veterinary use. Formulated with a proprietary, highly palatable roast beef and liver flavor to ensure dogs will readily consume the tablets. Administer tablets to the dog free choice or crumble over their food at mealtime. Aspirin has been used routinely in veterinary medicine for a variety of pain and inflammation ailments.Do not use this product in dogs who are allergic to it or other NSAIDS. Do not use in dogs with gastrointestinal disease or ulcers, bleeding problems or liver or kidney impairment. This product is only for use in dogs, do not use for cats.

 

Canine Joint Health (Pala Tech)

Musculoskeletal supplement containing glucosamine hydrochloride hydrochloride, creatine and methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) for use in dogs. ~ Dietary supplement delivers the essential nutrients known to be beneficial to maintain healthy joints and muscles. ~ Will help replenish joint fluids and optimize muscle performance, strength and endurance.

 

Cosequin DS (Nutramax)

Helps maintain optimal joint function. Healthy joint cartilage is crucial to joint utility. Contains Glucosamine, Hydrochloride 99%, Sodium Chondrotin Sulfate 95% Ascorbic Acid & Maganese. Initial administration period is 4 - 6 weeks. At this time administer 1 tablet daily for 10 - 24 lb size dog, 2 tablets daily for 25 - 49lb, 3 tablets daily for 50-100lb, 4 tablets daily for over 100lb dogs. The maintenance level is 10-24lb 1/2 tablet daily, 25-49lb 1 tablet daily, 50-100lb 1-2 tablets daily and dogs over 100lbs 2 tablets daily. Once consistent improvement has been seen, these maintenance levels may be reduced to an every other day administration. The maintenance level can be used long-term on healthy dogs to help with joint support.

 

Denosyl (Nutramax)

Denosyl has been shown to increase hepatic glutathione levels in cats and dogs. A recent analysis showed that dogs and cats with various severe liver problems showed that 45% of these animals had low hepatic glutathione levels. Denosyl is recommended to improve hepatic glutathione levels in compromised patients to help maintain and protect liver function.

 

Deramaxx (Novartis)

For use in dogs only. Chewable tablets used for the control of postoperative pain and inflammation associated with orthopedic surgery.

 

Etogesic (Ft. Dodge)

Recommended for the management of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis in dogs.

New product from ProLabs requiring a prescription. This is for use in canine patients with mild to moderate osteoarthritis. Flexile RX contains active ingredients from natural sources that are increasingly prescribed for human patients with osteoarthritis. As with all new products consult a veterinarian before using. Dosage: 15 - 50lbs 1/2 tablet daily, 51 - 100lbs 1 tablet daily, Over 100lbs 1 1/2 tablets daily. Intended for dogs with pre-existing or concurrent conditions, non responders, dogs unable to take drugs.Flexile RX has not been evaluated in pregnant or breeding animals, concurrent use with NSAIDs has not been evaluated, concurrent use with corticosteroids has not been evaluated, not for animals with allergies to any component of Flexile Rx, not recommended for patients with bleeding ulcers.
